| PASSING POINT LINEUP SYSTEM for the $10,000 to win ARMADILLO NATIONALS - LoneStar Speedway Sept. 17-19: 1. Finishing positions in heat will receive points dropping 4 points per position. EXAMPLE 1st 59, 2nd 55, 3rd 51, 4th 47, 5th 43, etc. This applies to all three race divisions. 2. Each car passed for position from green flag start to finish is 1 ½ points. 3. Starting lineup is from drop of first green flag. If a car pulls out before a green flag is dropped all cars will move straight forward but those positions are not counted. After initial green flag any positions advanced from start to finish of race will count. If a driver elects to go to rear at start of heat he will receive finishing points only (no passing points). Any car that fails to draw for heat race will receive finishing point only. 4. Highest total points will start on pole of Qualifying Feature Race. 2nd highest outside pole, etc. 5. Qualifying feature race points are 1st 100, 2nd 98, dropping 2 points per position. 6. Your heat race points (including passing points) plus your qualifying feature race points equals your 'final points' going into Saturday night's championship events. If you race both Thursday and Friday night, your highest point night between the two will be your 'final points.' You don't have to race both Thursday and Friday, but obviously you double your chances of improving your final points total if you do. Your low point night is not dropped until after Friday night's races are completed. There is no 'penalty' for racing both nights and there is no additional entry fee (just your pit pass) to race Thursday and Friday. |
